CardDAV contacts: Deleted fields not syncing

When deleting data from a field in eM Client (e.g. remove a phone number), the change is not recorded on the server and data returns immediately after synchronizing. I get no error messages, but the field I blanked out is filled in by the server’s data.

Hello Chris, I’m afraid this is more likely a server issue, can you please navigate to Tools > Settings > Advanced and enable CardDAV logging for the problematic account, save the settings and replicate the issue with logging enabled?

Once the issue reoccurs, please restart the application and go back to the advanced settings window to submit the logging data, please submit the logs to my work mail [email protected] with a reference link to this forum topic.

It’s been a year with no change to this issue and no response. Can I get an update? I’d really like to be able to delete redundant phone numbers, email addresses, and mailing addresses from my contacts.

I contacted my domain provider and finally got a response from them. Apparently it’s a known issue with cPanel (currently v60.0.28). Hopefully they push a fix soon.
