You mentioned above that you’re using version 6.0.21040.0 … that’s not the latest version … I’ve posted a link to version 6.0.21151, which is newer than the version you’ve mentioned.
Maybe you can give that version a try?

Hi Christine, sorry for my late reply, if you’re still having issues with this, can you please try to add eM Client on the list of exceptions in your avast settings and check if the issue persists?
