can't receive email

getting error 108.167.133.31.110…cannot access socket…server Hostgator able to send to gmail but not to emclient…???

Hello, I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to, if you’re seeing any errors thrown by the application, can you please make a screenshot of the error or switch to the “Log” tab in Operations, copy the content of the log and submit it to us here on the forum for more information about the error.

It seems like some application may be blocking the connection to your server, try to temporarily disable the software and check if the issue persists or make sure to setup an exception for eM client to allow connection to your server.

Also what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About?
