can't log in to gmail

I am trying to use eMclient to access my work Gmail account.  I have it set up on my laptop (work supplied)  and it works fine.  I just got a new desktop at work and am trying to set up eM
Client.  It will not log in.  I tried to use it to access my personal Gmail account, and it worked fine, but not my work account.  We are using the Gmail 2-step authorization for work, but it doesn’t seem to be getting that far… just not accepting my login and password…

Any wisdom to share?


Hi Jim, if you’re using the two step verification feature on your Google account, you have to setup an application specific password for eM Client and setup your account using this specific password. You have to do this for each instance of eM Client as well as for all your other devices to successfully connect to your mail server.
