When I attempt to download updates I receive an error “The remote server returned an error (404) not found.”
Is this anything on my end I should be correcting?

I am getting the same message. Version 2.5.6362.0
Sorry, we were moving the servers to a new hosting provider due to several outages in last week. The problem should be fixed now.
