Can't create local or server rule?

Hi Folks,

I have two problems:

  1. When I choose Menu | Rules, I get a message box titled “Failed to load rules” that contains the message “Failed to login to the server.” I use the IceWarp service, and mail otherwise works fine, so I don’t know why this would be. Any pointers?

  2. As an alternative, I would like to create a local rule, but there’s no obvious way to specify that a rule should be local. If I click OK on the error above, go ahead and create a rule, and then click “Finish”, I get a box titled “Cannot Save Rule” with the same “Failed to login to the server” message. How do I create a purely local rule?

I was able to resolve #2 - just hadn’t seen the pulldown that lets me switch to local.

#1 is still an issue - I am using an IceWarp account, and as I understand it, rule management is supported for IceWarp, but get an error every time I try to look at server side rules associated with that account.

Yes eM Client does support Icewarp server rules from the documentation, so could be a setup problem possibly at the Icewarp server end.

I would suggest if you have a current active paid Pro or Personal version of eM Client, to go to the VIP support page and lodge a support ticket and an assigned support person can assist you with the Icewarp Server rules issue.
