Hi,
recently had to switch to a different email provider as AWS Workmail is ending.
Eventually settled on Outlook365 but can’t connect eM Client to it, because:
1 - sometimes it never opens the browser auth page
2 - when it does open the browser page, after the question “Do you want to connect eM Client” (or whatever) it never passes back control to eM Client, which just hangs and eventually times out.
I tried Thunderbird and that works fine. Unfortunately Thunderbird is shite.
Please don’t make me use that. How can I get eM Client to work?
( I checked the registry btw - the setting is not there).

Just keeps cycling back to this, then eventually eM Client says “There was an error obtaining credentials via OAuth.”

Try “setting a differant chromium browser as default” and then re-run the wizard.
Also sometimes “you have to toggle around your various open windows” in the background after you click continue or allow on the automatic account wizard setup to find the next prompt.
Also “if you have used eM Client before with your Outlook 365 account”, go online to your account and “revoke / remove” the OAuth token for eM Client and then close and reopen eM Client and re-run the wizard again as could be an old or corrupted OAuth token.
If setting another browser as default doesn’t make any difference, and you haven’t had any eM Client OAuth Office 365 token before, or you did have one previously but revoking / removing the OAuth token made no difference, then “update what settings you have already in Thunderbird” that work for your Incoming Mail tab as you might then possibly need a manual setup.
