Can't authenticate with college Google Apps account

I am unable to authenticate with Gmail through my college Google Apps account. I have tried the method of logging in Gmail via Internet Explorer but still it won’t go pass the “Your JavaScript is disabled” page. I went into Internet Options > Security > Custom Level and enabled all script options. Still no luck. I am only able to authenticate with an IMAP “other” account and that will only sync my mail but not calendar or contacts (which I need).

Hello Daniel, unfortunately this is due to Google implementing OAuth on their main servers and hosted partner apps without support for OAuth are being also redirected for oauth. Please try to setup your account manually, navigate to Tools > Accounts > New account, but instead of using the automatic setup, go to the Mail tab below and select Other.

Proceed with the setup instructions and use the recommended server settings for setting up your account.
