Error msg:
[IMAP] An attempt to connect to JGCK821@CHARTER.NET failed. This could be
caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings.

One option is that you have incorrect server settings. Go to Menu > Tools > Accounts, and in the IMAP tab check that you have the following:
Port: 993
Security Policy: Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)

Another option is that your anti-virus or firewall is blocking the port or application. Try disabling them and try again.

I get some errors like this at home because my rural Internet connection has a few issues. But most of the time I can still receive and send messages. My solution is to turn off the message pop-up because I know what is causing it. You can do that by unselecting Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Operations Window > Show window when an error occurs. When there is a connection issue, there will now only be a red exclamation next to the account folder tree.

If you have a Pro License you could open a support ticket, and your error logs may be used to determine exactly what the problem is.
