Attachments sent via XMPP chat are not transfered. Instead they stall at “Preparing …” . Have tested and it is not a client side firewall issue. Does The XMPP file transfer use FTP?

Could we please ask what services are you trying to send files between? Google currently only allows sending files between two Google Talk accounts, you can’t send to/receive from outside.
If this condition is fulfilled, are both accounts online at the time of sending?
