try to install this version http://www.emclient.com/dist/v5.0.190… this was bug in older ones, if it will not help then just delete it directly form your server using webmail interface.

If I install from this link will my existing emails and account details be saved automatically?

yes, your database will be preserved. To be sure you can use File - Backup… so if anything will go wrong you will not loose anything.
