Cannot connect to my @live.com account

I connected once but cannot connect again.

are you getting any error pop up? Have you tried re-adding your account?
Can you please tell me how your account is set up and what version of eM Client you’re currently running? (Help > About section)

Yes I am getting a popup. I have tried to drop the account and reload it several times. I am running version 6.0.23181.0

I see you’re connecting to the Exchange servers but have your account set up as IMAP.
Could you please try to add your account as an Exchange one and see if the problem persists? Just choose Mail > Exchange when adding your email into eM Client.

No it is not an exchange account. It is a Live.com account. I have tried every option and none of them seem to work. Can you help me with this ? Do you have evidence of anybody being able to use this client for communication with Live.com accounts ?

Yes, eM Client works with live.com accounts.
Please go to your settings and in IMAP tab, and for security policy choose the “Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)” option.
