Cannot connect to att for email

I am able to log directly into att mail, but emclient fails. I tried diagnostic, but no go. The settings look fine, even has the correct ports. I am wondering about the fact that now Yahoo is the true provider for att.

Any idea has to how to get this working? thanks.
ps this has been going on for several days. At all times the direct login worked.

Disable your anti-virus/firewall or VPN application and try again.

Otherwise, can you go to Menu > Tools > Operations and see if there are any errors in the Log tab.
