cannot access my gmail on eM client

I keep on getting login failures with my user name and password for gmail.  I did verify my password (and I reset it as well).  Very frustrating.  Hope someone can assist.

Hi, by any chance are you using the two step verification feature from Google?

Thank you for responding Paul.  I am now all set.  I went to Gmail’s f&q’s and obtained an application password.

Yes I do have two step verification.
