Hello Henry, sorry to see this and thank you for reporting this issue. I see you’re running the latest version of eM Client, can you please try to run this installer again, 6.0.22344.0 and use the “Repair” option during your installation. The “NHunspell” file should be included in your eM Client installation folder.

Hope this helps.

Just had a similar issue with mine this morning, attempting to reply to an e-mail.

In addition, I tried to download and install the latest version and failed due to a missing file.  Problems with a new release?   Edit - sorry, this may be coincidental with local issues on my machine.

Hello Tom, was there an error thrown by the application during the installation? If so, can you please make a screenshot of the error and try to run the repair on your eM Client installation from your Control Panel > add/remove programs, if the behavior is any different?

Thank you.

Thanks Paul, I ran the repair and it seems to be working now.  I tried to create and forward an email and it worked fine.

Glad it works, please make sure to let us know if you come across any other issues or questions about the application, we’ll be happy to help.

I am having the same issue with mine(latest version). Unable to use the Repair function from the Control Panel. Error…“The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable…”

Same error when trying to run the installer again…

Hello, can you please make a screenshot of the error and submit it to us here on the forum?

Sure.   Attempting to install I get this:

… and then this:

Same when I attempt a repair.  Also, attempting to open tools | settings crashes the app.

The issue is that it cannot find setup.msi,  Try to browse and look in the download folder. If it is not there, then select save  after you click ‘repair’ to save the setup.msi file in your download folder. You can then run the setup.msi

I ran it right out of my download folder.  Even moved it to my desktop and ran it from there.  same thing.

Still having the EXACT same problem(same error logs) as Tom with the same results. I cannot find the setup.msi file.

Hello again Tom, what version of eM Client do you have currently installed on your computer? Can you please check the exact release in Help > About?

My version is 6.0.23344.0. Is it possible to revert to the earlier version? Mine was working fine then.

6.0.22344.0

Was this a recent release?

Tried to repair - found MSI file but still says fatal error Version 6.0.22344.0 - can i return to previous version ?

Yes this is currently the most recent release, can you please try to download the installer from our website and save it to your downloads folder, 6.0.22344.0 and try to run the installer from there?

If you have the option to repair your current installation, please use this option and check if the issue persists.

However I’m not completely sure how were you updating from 6.0.22344.0 to a later release since this is the most current release at the moment?

Not so much of an update as trying to run the installer again.  So far though I can neither run that install nor run a repair.

Question, if I attempt an uninstall, will I lose my account settings?  If so, can these be backed up?  Thanks.
