I want to save some Sent mail but they don’t show up in my Saved folder. Where do they go?
Somewhat confusing, to me, as to what you are trying to accomplish. It sounds like you want to move certain SENT emails to certain folders based on certain criteria.
If that is what you want to accomplish then you can accomplish that with a RULE. The option exists, but I have never found a need to use it.
If I have misinterpreted your post please clarify.
You are correct. I want to whittle down the size of my Inbox by moving items into other folders but in the process I am finding things in the Sent folder that I want to keep as well. While we are on the subject, should I periodically clear the Sent folder?
SO I guess the SENT RULE is your friend.
That of course is up to you. I go by “how much can I tolerate”. I periodically delete items from the SENT folder.
