Can different time-stamp eM backups be merged?

I had a bad system crash and have had to rebuild my data. I found last year’s backup. I want to incorporate all that data in my current setup - is it possible?

I can only find indications that one file will overwrite newer data, but I am hoping there is a way to rebuild by merging…

sorry there’s currently no way how to merge your backups, it would end up with a broken database with you unable to use either of the backup.
