Calendar not fully syncing witih Google Calendar

it was working fine when i was using version 5.x, then I finally answered “yes” to the pestering upgrade message and it has stopped working. What is frustrating is that there is no rhyme or reason to it AFIK. All items entered on tablet never update onto EM, but only some items on EM don’t make it to the tablet. It seems that the repeating events do, all others do not. It seemed to be working fine in previous version and I’m not even sure what version that was. i’ve been using it for maybe 6 months, so whatever i would have downloaded back then.
P.S,  I used default setup to first install it and it seemed to correctly setup GMAP and seemed to be working fine. This all happened - or stopped happening - after the upgrade.

Hi Dave, from your post I really do not understand what exactly are you having issues with, can you please comment on what version of eM Client are you currently using (Help > About)? What mail service are you using? And what exactly are you having issues with? Are you seeing any errors from the application?

Google Calendar is a part of Gmail. I’m having problem with Google calendar not staying in sync w/ EM v. 6.0.20617.0. I use Google Calendar to keep my tablet in sync w/ EM and it was doing that fine before the upgrade (although nothing entered on the tablet ever made it back to EM). It seems that only the repeating items make it over to the tablet (Samsung Galaxy) single items don’t.

   Lately I have been clearing the local cache and re-loading the items from Google and the same items were not re-appearing in EM, proving that they had never made it to Google. I clicked send/receive several times after re-entering a missing item and was able to see it re-appear, so it appears to be that if the items don’t update to Google before closing down EM, they are not flagged as needing updated and so they never update in following sync attempts.

Hi Dave, can you please try to download and install this update http://www.emclient.com/dist/v6.0.20773/setup.msi and check if the issue still persists?

   Thanks for the updated program. I have been testing over the last few days and my test Google calendar entries do seem to be appearing on Google calendar as entered from EM (I went to the Google calendar web interface to make sure) but they are still not appearing in my tablet. Therefore, it may have not been a problem with EM at all (although I swear I didn’t see this problem before I upgraded in about 4 months of use). I don’t know why I’m not seeing them all on my tablet Google Calendar software but I do get the email notifications on the tablet, so something is amiss there. Weird. My apologies if you fixed something that wasn’t amiss but at least I can say it works great now! Thanks!
