In my eM Client version 7 in the last days the calendar function totally disappeard. In the left row als well as in the full sight.ight. What is do is to do, to correct this failure. The inscriptions ( database entries) are still displayed.
You can right-click on one of the other tabs, like Mail, then tick Calendar.
