Button lettering and other oddities

(I am currently testing the version supplied with SMO 2012 trial.)
There is something wrong with the implentation of the general Win XP design. On buttons the lettering is often wrapped (as in “Abbrechen” = Escape), but the actual surface of the button is too small. Thus I see the “feet” of the upper line and the “heads” of the lower one. Can this behaviour be changed somehow?

Furthermore  my windows taskbar is configured to hide and only pop up, when the mouse hovers over it. Only once in 9 years of XP did this not work on some dirty little freeware programme. And now EMC. No taskbar however much I hover about.

Finally–and this is hard to explain–white, i.e. “non-used”  areas of EMC become transparent when you move the mouse over them. That is, the previously active picture “shines” through - yikes. Just imagine your kitchen window was misted over and you then wiped across it and suddenly could see outside again. Sounds kinda fine, but is pretty distracting. Any ideas what all this might be about, please?

Hello, please note that Windows XP is no longer a supported system by Microsoft and that the operating system will no longer be receiving updates as there’s no official response regarding issues with this system from Microsoft, it is no longer possible to resolve issue in order to workaround all security issues contained in this outdated operating system.

If you’re having issues with some of the graphic parts of the application, please make sure to make a screenshot of the issue and submit it to us here on the forum, however please note that eM Client for SoftMaker has it’s own support channel and is not supported by eM Client here on this community forum.
