Clicking on a BusyContact group or individual “send email” switches focus to eM Client but doesn’t do anything further.
Could be BusyContact is not eg: compatible with eM Client “via right click send to email directly”.
From a Google search on the BusyContacts website, you can add the BusyContacts CardDAV url into mail clients. So suggest instead of trying to send to eM Client, try going to “Menu / Accounts”. Then click “Add account” and click “Contacts” and click “CardDAV” on the far right and follow the manual wizard and enter your BusyContacts CardDAV url.
If you don’t know your BusyContacts CardDAV url, contact BusyContacts technical support.
If you carn’t add in the BusyContacts CardDAV url, then might need to eg: export the Busy Contacts to a .(vCard) file and then import that into your eM Client account contacts via “Menu / File / Import”.
Thanks for the reply. I switched to eM Client recently from Airmail - eM Client is generally much better, but one of the few things Airmail did well was accept a BusyContact “send email” instruction by starting an email with the TO: field prepopulated. As noted, focus does switch to eM Client so it’s acknowledging the request, but then not acting on it.
