Rolling back to V10 does not seem to resolve this issue. MacOS 27 installed.
Clean install of emClient throws the Oauth issue.
Import of prior settings seems to bring the accounts into the client fine, but connections fail with:
MailClient.Accounts.AuthenticationAbortedException: Authentication aborted
Suggest you “close eM Client” and then “go into your account online third party apps section” and “revoke / remove” the eM Client OAuth token.
Then “reopen eM Client” and you should get a prompt to reallow eM Client access to your mail account and then see if that fixes it.
If that doesn’t fix it, suggest you next go to “Menu / Accounts” and “remove and readd your accounts” as could be a local account problem.
Note: If you have a POP account before removing your account, go to “Menu / File / Export” and save any emails, contacts. Tasks etc you need to a folder on the desktop so you can reimport them later after readding your account.
Thanks for those suggestions… I’ve had the same issue starting with a brand new, fresh install of emClient 11.
Getting this frequently:
XXXX [IMAP] MailClient.Accounts.AuthenticationAbortedException: Authentication aborted
Other random issues, even when auth is working:
[Google Calendar] Synchronizing folder ‘XXX/Calendar’ failed due to the following error: net_http_request_timedout, 100
[Microsoft Graph] Synchronizing folder ‘XXXX/Trash’ failed due to the following error: ExpectedJsonTokens LineNumber: 0 | BytePositionInLine: 0.
On iPad:
[Microsoft Graph] Synchronizing folder ‘XXXX/Inbox’ failed due to the following error: Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program.
As removing the eM Client OAuth token from your online account and removing and readding your accounts makes no differance, then sounds like your browser isn’t authenticating the token properly. I would suggest to “clear your browser cache fully” and then try remove your eM Client online token again and remove and readd your account and see if that authenticates properly.
If you still have the same AuthenticationAbortedException: Authentication aborted error “then try setting another browser as default” and then try the same above process again incase its your current browser.
[Google Calendar] Synchronizing folder ‘XXX/Calendar’ failed due to the following error: net_http_request_timedout, 100
Timedouts errors with Mail clients “apart from your physical connection speed” can sometimes be cause by eg: resident programs interferring in the background. So if you have any optionally installed eg: Firewall / Security programs or optionally installed Antivirus programs or vpn’s “other than what comes default with your OS” try completely disabling those to test.
If you have no optionally installed programs like that “then suggest to check your internet connection speed” to make sure that hasn’t changed incase its slowed causing timeout errors. Suggest also if you haven’t akready to completely power off your computer and modem / router for eg: 2 mins and then power everything back on to see if that makes any differance.
Apart from that if you have your Google account configured as IMAP, then “Go to the calendar section of eM Client” and “right click on the word Calendar” directly under your Gmail address and click “Properties”. Then click the “Repair” tab and click Repair. As could be you might possibly have a corrupted local calendar cache that needs clearing and starting new.
[Microsoft Graph] Synchronizing folder ‘XXXX/Trash’ failed due to the following error: ExpectedJsonTokens LineNumber: 0 | BytePositionInLine: 0.
Ive no idea what that specific Graph error is so suggest you email [email protected] for assistance with that.
On iPad:
[Microsoft Graph] Synchronizing folder ‘XXXX/Inbox’ failed due to the following error: Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program.
Check “you have enough storage space left” on your iPad as is saying Insufficient memory so your iPad might be nearly full or possibly you have too many apps open with not enough ram.
If your iPad storage is fine then suggest you completely power off your iPad and then power back on and see if that makes any differance to that Insufficient memory error.
If you are a Beta tester of eM Client then iOS V11.0.627 is available in Testflight which works fine for me personally with OAuth with IMAP or Graph accounts using IPV4 & Dynamic IP Address.
