Backup Error - Access is Denied

I’m a new user trying to get my settings straight. When I try to enable backup I get the following error message:

“eM Client backup task failed with reason: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)).”

I’ve tried changing the target directory to different folders under different users (including public) and still get the same error message. Any ideas on how I can resolve this?

this should be fixed in the next update which will hopefully be released today.

I am still getting this error and the program advises there are no updates available. Is a fix still in the works?
