Backing and restoring emails

I have questions about the backup and recovery procedures in eMclient.

I think I have successfully tested the backup facility and created 3 files different veintage backup files in the users/documents directory. I am assuming these are backups of all my email ie in,sent,out.archive etc as I cant find any setting to direct the backup process.
Is this correct?

I also cannot find a restore function to reinstate the backups.

Is there on and where is it?


Were the backups created using the eMC backup (MENU > Backup)?
If so, then all you need to do is restore using MENU > File > RESTORE
