love the program, have not missed thunderbird. It would be nice if you could allow certain senders to auto download pictures, instead of having to click that button everytime.

this is already implemented in 5th version (and in 6th version there is added whitelist so only emails from selected users will show pictures by default)
Tools - Settings - Mail - Privacy.
