authentication method

Hi,

I know this topic was discussed here already several times … but I didn’t find an answer …

Here is my issue: my corporate IMAP server is using SSL with the plain password. I can’t set (or ate least I didn’t find this option) Authentication method in eM Client also I can’t change server settings. 

Did I miss something? If not, do you plan to add the Authentication method to IMAP settings?

Hello Petr,

If the server sends a standard request for a plain password, eM Client will respond to it and everything should work. If your server uses SSL, please select appropriate Security policy in Menu -> Tools -> Accounts -> relevant account’s IMAP tab based on your provider’s recommendation.
