Authentication failed

I did mine successfully and deleted my 2 emails to transfer, then tried to add in my husbands 2 emails and his cox account keeps saying “Authentication failed”.  The Username and password are correct.  I tried many of the other fixes listed in other conversations but the same thing is happening!

can you connect to this account using a webmail interface?
Have you tried the manual setup (New Account>Mail>Other)?
