Attachements not open / save

I am not able to open / download attachments.  I am using latest version.

Not the most helpful of error messages. Some advice on what to do would be useful!

Hello, sorry to see this, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About? Are you using Windows XP? Do you have the latest available version of .NET framework installed on your computer (v4.5.2)?

Version 6.0.22344.0 & i am using windows xp sp3. Installed .net v2.0 sp1

Problem solved. Installed .NET version 4 & its working fine now.

One more thing… all TEXT emails are showing in box & HTML emails are showing perfectly without boxed. How to remove that box type border for text emails.

Hello again, glad it works, but unfortunately again not completely sure what you’re referring to, can you make a screenshot of the issue?

Also please note that Windows XP is an unsupported operating system, the OS has run out of Microsoft support on April 2014 and it’s system components may be outdated causing a lot of other issues, that we might be unable to resolve. This can also be a high security risk if you’re using email for private data, you don’t want others to access.
