I have spent the last hour and half trying to create an email template that will automatically put space between paragraphs. I cannot fathom why this is so hard, and it doesn’t help that the page titled “How to create a professional email template in eM Client” doesn’t explain anything other than where in the settings menu one should go to create a template. The official documentation provides no more detail. And none of my decades of Moveable Type, WordPress, and HTML tinkering seems to be remotely helpful here.
Currently, the only way I can transform the text in an email to a paragraph with padding is by clicking “Remove Format,” which is … ironic since it actually formats the text. I assumed that I could put some basic css into the template with <style> tags – since that is discussed in the forums – but nothing I use to style p works to actually style as a paragraph whatever I’m writing into the email.
If anyone has achieved this feat, could you share your template code? Has anyone built a repository of email templates? The “Beautiful” templates are so over-styled that pulling out of the necessary code will be more effort than I have time to expend.
