does emclient archive older email messages? I am trying to find an old message but so far can’t see it anywher.

the archiving feature will be probably available with release of version 2.9 which is scheduled on the start of January 2011. Meanwhile you can backup save your emails by selecting them (or selecting wanted date group) and using Save As… feature.
