archive action fails to perform duty

I set up Auto-archive on my work machine, clicked the Auto-Archive Now. The wheel started spinning on the account in question so I left it for the night as it could be a long job for the first time. The wheel was still spinning this morning and there was no archive folders created. The emails still go back to 2013 as they did before I started.
The facility works on my home machine fine. 
Suggestion. Dont Auto-Archive the Trash Folders, especially as there is no Trash Can empty facility on Archived folders.

Hi David, have you setup an archiving scope for your accounts in the automatic archiving setup under Tools > Settings > Mail > Automatic Archiving. What version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check for the exact version number in Help > About?
