Application not launching

Since the new application upgrade and following the Microsoft Windows 10 updates on 14 August 2020, the application doesn’t start (as at 15 August 2020). Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Have you checked, using the Task Manager, to see if there is another instance of eM Client already running? If found, remove it using “End Task” and start eM Client again.

Yes, that’s one of the first things I did, following other posts, but there wasn’t another instance. I then reinstalled the application, saving the database, and it worked.

Great… that was going to be my next suggestion…
