Received email from AOL yesterday, 9-28-21, telling me my email client is using less than secure sign-in method and that I need to go to AOL website and generate new password.
I don’t understand, as I have almost the latest version of eM Client, version 8.2.1473.
AOL want you to use an app password in eM Client, rather than the account password.
As far as I know, you can create the app password here.
When you have done that, you will get a popup in eM Client asking for the username password, so enter this new app password.
