I arrived in Japan and all the android client tect is in japanese. How can I switch it back to English FFS…? Online help no help
That can happen when traveling on Android mobiles due to “location-based services detecting the region”.
So you would change your language settings in your mobile OS back to eg: whatever language you had previously.
In Droid OS16 that’s via “Settings / System / Languages & Region” and setting the language back to what you want as default and then “drag it to the top of the list as priority”.
Then close eM Client and power cycle your mobile and then reopen eM Client and that should fix it.
Thank for the suggestion! I am on Android 16 on a Samsung phone… The settings are a bit different but I tried a combination of manual region setting and reboots. But ended up with the em client UI still in Japanese ![]()
So still stuck… for the main functions fortunately not a problem but… Calendar definitely confusing. Surely the app has a setting?
