An Error Occured - Connection terminated prematurely

I’ve been using eM Client for quite a long time now.  It worked fine up until a few days now when I started to get an error message (Connection terminated prematurely).  My version of eM Client is 6.0.20498.0.  Messages can be sent but none can be received.  Can you help?

Hi, can you please make a screenshot of the error you’re seeing?

Thank you,
Paul.

Hello Paul!

As requested, here is the screeshot

Are you still able to send/receive your email?
What mail service are you using?

Thank you,
Paul.

Hello Paul!

I have two accounts with videotron.ca.  In one case, sending and receiving are going normally.  However, with my main account, I can send but not receive any message.  Both accounts are configured the same way and were always fonctionning properly up to now.  If I use Windows Live Mail on my main account, I can both send and receive.

Thank You for your help!

Can you try to replicate the issue again and when the error pops out, switch to the log tab in the operations window and copy the content of the log and post it here?

Thank you,
Paul.

Hi again, can you make a screenshot of your account settings from Tools > Accounts > Your account > POP3 ?
If you click on “Send and Receive” are new messages downloaded or are you having issues with fetching new email?

Thank you,
Paul.
