Am trying to configure emclient 7 for a situation where email address is different than service provider,  Could do it with v6

I use gmail for business (hosting company domain) and the Automatic Setup worked just fine.  If not, you can go to menu/tools/accounts and instead of using the default automatic setup, go to Mail and select Other (or the provided providers).  It then will allow you to enter information in manually.

I have used your suggestion and I can receive emails,  Problem is with SMTP.  I cannot send email.  Does v7 limit what host email you use?  Version 6 had no problem.

Go to menu/tools/accounts, click on the SMTP tab and make sure the host, port and security policy is correct. 

smtp.comcast.net    587   Use SSL/TLS if available    and Server requires authentication is checked with the email address and password for the Comcast email account

Try “force usage of ssl/tls”
