Allow for different DPI settings

Because of poor eyesight I have to use a DPI setting of 125% in Windows 7.
The eM Client itself handles this with no problem. The Settings dialog does not.
As you can see, the settings circled in red are unreadable.

Can this be looked at in future versions?

Hello,

we will try to repair this as this is quite serious issue, but I can’t say when it will be done exactly.

Hello,

can I ask if problem still persist? I have realized that this issue could be done by not knowing that after DPI change you have to log off and log on again.

Yes the problem still persists.
My DPI setting is not new but the computer has been rebooted several times since installing eM Client.

then if it is possible for you can you try this newer version? http://www.emclient.com/dist/v5.0.183…

I installed the newer version but the results are the same.

This also affects most message dialog boxes. Here is an example.

Hello,

I am sorry for delayed answer first.

We have tried to simulated all posibblle DPI setting and their results on eM Client, but we was unable to find solution for this.

We could try to help you remotely - that means that we would try to solve it directly on your computer by software for remote connection.
If you have no problem with this, then contact me on:

and attach this URL: https://discourse.emclient.com/emclient/to…

we will arrange meeting details over email

Thank you for testing the DPI settings. I found the problem, but wouldn’t have without your testing.
It isn’t the screen DPI setting. I had changed the default Windows message box font size from 11 to 15.
eM Client is the first program that I noticed the problem with. I hadn’t noticed that it caused a problem in any other applications.

Thank you.

Hello,
