Could you add “Check Database” to the file menu so it can be initiated on request?
Yesterday I restored a recent backup because I had lost a lot of emails and was having problems syncing my Outlook account. The backup restored perfectly but was corrupted as soon as the program synced. It turned out that the database was corrupted, and I only resolved this when I rebooted my computer without exiting eM Client first. The database check then launched automatically and fixed the faulty database. If I could have launched the database check from within eM Client, it would have saved me a lot of time.
