Account Temporarily Unavailable message

Anyone else getting this atm?
I’ve double checked password, re-entered a few times etc, but it still keeps coming up.
Hopefully temporary, but for how long I wonder, as I have email info to sent/receive today that must be done.
So annoying.

If its only just happened, “could be a mail server outage” or “could be your connection to the mail server is not working”, or “could be you might have a resident program interfering” or “could be you might possibly have the wrong mail settings” or need updating.

So first try power off your computer and wifi router / internet connection for eg: 2 mins and then power back on and see if that makes any difference.

If powering off your computer and wifi modem / internet connection makes no difference, then next check with your Mail Server technical support if they are experiencing any mail server problems today and let them know whats happening.

If they say their end is ok and you can access your webmail online ok, then next if you have any eg: optionally installed firewall / security programs or optionally installed antivirus programs or vpns, “other than what comes default with your OS”, then try completely disabling those to test in case of interference.

If you have nothing like that optionally installed or you do but disabling made no difference, then go to “Menu / Accounts” and update what your incoming and outgoing “mail server address, server port and security policy” is so we can check for any obvious errors. Also update what mail server your with.

Also what version of eM Client you are using and if you have Windows or Mac and OS version.
