Account not working - don't want to loose archiviation

One gmail account is not syncing anymore since yesterday - but in my phone or web version the email works properly.

I usually solved this problem by deleting the account and re-integrating it again. But I am very worried about loosing some archived emails that I move from folder to folder and account to another.

How can I do in the less risky way?

Thank you

If you have archived email under an account and are looking at removing and readding it, suggest first to create a folder down in “Local folders” at the bottom left called “Archive messages” and then drag / move all your current archive folder messages to that Local Folder.

Then once you are certain they are all in Local folders then remove the account and readd it back in. Once resetup then drag / move all your Archive messages backup to your new Archive folder.

Note: Before doing anything first make a manual backup of eM Client via “Menu / Backup” in case you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via the dropdown on the right of Refresh.

Also apart from having to remove and readd your account if it stops working, if you have been regularly backing up eM Client either automatically via the Settings or manually backing up via the menu, you could alternatively try restoring a recent dated backup when you know all your accounts were working via “Menu / File / Restore”.

thank you very much. I backupped before (I never used that tool… thank you) and then removed and added again the account. It works now.

I didn’t save all the folders in local, because I was worried if they were moved from the original one. I hope I didn’t lost anything

Thank you very much
