I am sorry for a late reply.
The local folders and its content is saved locally on your computer. By moving an object to Local folder, it gets deleted from the server and it’s excluded from the future settings.
Because your data are then only stored on your computer, I’d recommend creating a regular backup + external/cloud storage just for case of hardware malfunction so you don’t loose your data.
