After a recent update I’m missing a huge amount of emails from my inbox. I didn’t select things like categories when I installed that update. They simply aren’t in the inbox. Can anyone help? Is the best thing to start with to reinstall it?

That’s unusual that happened after an upgrade.
If your emails are not in a Category Inbox Tab as Categories are disabled, then try doing a Search for them in All Folders as per below.
Go to the search field at the top centre or top right depending on your eM Client version, and select “All Folders” in the dropdown field, and then type a search for text that you know is in one of the email Subjects or Body of those emails and see if any of those emails then appear.

If nothing is found in the search all folders, then if you have been making regular eM Client backups, suggest to next try restoring a recent dated backup when you know those emails were there via “ Menu / File / Restore”. Any new mail since the backup will then update when eM Client syncs.

I’ve realised what I’ve done wrong. Is there a way of deleting a topic you’ve created because I can’t see one?
