4th Request to fix Group Emails

Back - right after the last major update - like in May, I wrote that when trying to use “mailto:” a group - it no longer worked - and I received a very quick response that this was a known issue and would be fixed soon.

I am not sure what soon means in tech talk BUT it’s been about 2 months now and I have to use 2 different email programs because the quick fix has still not arrived.


This might be fixed in the latest official update Version 9.1.2053 which just came out yesterday for Windows and Mac so maybe suggest to try the update to see if it fixes that.

Close eM Client before upgrading.

Lastly before upgrading backup eM Client via “Menu / Backup” and you can see when the backup is completed via “Menu / Operations”
