When I receive an emal file (.msg or .eml) attached to the mail I can't open it

When I receive an email file (.msg or .eml) attached to the mail I can’t open them.
The attached files dont have any extension, and if I add them, I get an empty file

They should have a file extension, which they don’t. What email client were they sent from?

they are sended from Outlook, or exchange accounts

About all you can do is save them, then rename them and manually add the file extension.

Does this happen with all eml or msg attachments, or is it only from particular senders?

It is from particular senders. They use exchange servers.

If you open the message in the web interface for your email account, do the attachments appear without extensions?

I seem to remember something like this with MS Outlook a few years back. I think the solution was to update the client that was sending the email, but it might have been an update to the Exchange server. Either way, I don’t think it is an eM Client problem.

I have a google account. In gmail, I see a winmail.dat file.

If you have a Pro License, you can open a support ticket and they will be able to look into it for you.

Yes I have a pro license. Can you give me the link to do that? Thank you for your time.

Thank you Gary. Kind regards.
