Yes, anyone who hasn’t setup an App Password for eM Client (or other mail clients)
You use this instead of your regular password in eM Client.
Your regular password is still valid for web login.
Log in to your webmail and look at security and then app passwords or security.key.
Can’t give you specifics because every ISP-Yahoo afilliated provider has its own layout.

Thanks very for the reply. I tried a number of alternatives but still not working. BT Yahoo doesn’t have app password or security key options so decided to change all my contact details to my gmail account. Only took 3 hours!! Once again, thanks for your help.

I wasn’t aware that BT-Yahoo doesn’t use App passwords or security keys,
since I can’t login and explore the security settings…
If I try, I get immediately redirected to my local (yahoo affiliated) ISP
Most Yahoo affiliates followed Yahoo requirements .
Now Yahoo comes under Verizon, but each affilate decides how they want to handle the mail and emal addresses and security.
Anyway - it looks like you’ve got it sorted…
