Strange telephone call about my internet provider

I have just has a strange automated call on my land telephone line, telling me that my internet provider is about to cut off the service, within 24 or 48 hours, because of “illegal activity” on the server. I am a private user with one single account and one single device. Do you know anything about this?

I have had a number such calls - ignore them as they are scam. I suggest you block the number if you provider alliws

If in any doubt, call your Internet provider using the telephone number on your bill.
