I would very much like to have the option to select a Search Folder as a startup default. Currently under Menu > Tools > Settings > General, you are able to select any specific folder as long as it is not a Search Folder.
In version 8, this is still not possible, nor are the new Favorite folders selectable as a startup folder. ;-(
