skype contacts not shown in chat

Hello,

I’ve connected with Skype, made the associations between contacts and Skype ID in the contact editor (IM-Adress) and in the contact editor, I see if the contact is online or not (green/grey). But in the chat list (left sided) only the facebook accounts are shown …

What is going wrong?

I am also having the same question. Really, I’m still not clear on what the integration between eM client and skype is supposed to do!

Integration with Skype only pairs your contacts and allows you to store Skype messages in eM Client communication history.

But if you can show the if the skype user *is online in the contact* settings (green icon left from IM Address) then is should also work in the right sided chat bar?!

So is it a case for new feature request?

You want to show Skype contacts in chat area in Sidebar?

If I may piggie back this thread.
Having skype contacts listed like gtalk contacts do in the sidebar would be excellent.

Yes, that was my intention, that’s what I thought how it works :slight_smile:
