Performing a simple reply to emails generates this gem.
Pressing OK does nothing.
Pressing X twice lets the email send…

Could you please also post the content of the third tab called ‘Log’ in the Operations window (Menu->Tools->Operations)? Just select all with Ctrl+A and use Ctrl+V to copy it here.
The way eM Client works is that it only downloads message headers to save time during the new mail synchronization so it downloads the message’s body anew every time you open it. What happens here is that the e-mail that you’re trying to reply to hasn’t been fully downloaded yet, it’s therefore not possible to reply to it. This happens especially if the connection isn’t completely stable. If you wait until it is, it should behave regularly. If you’d like to also download the message bodies (which should prevent this error), please go to Menu -> Tools ->Accounts ->IMAP tab of the relevant account and select ‘Download messages for offline use’. Please note that the initial synchronization might take some time.

In the Menu -> Tools ->Accounts, there is not an IMAP tab, only General, Offline address book, Exchange web services, & Diagnostics.
