Is there any way to remove the categories assigned automatically from putting the emails in folders? I would want to have ONLY the categories I assigned show up as options i.e. Pending - Red, Replied - Orange, etc.
If you are referring to categories assigned on a GMail account, like Important , this thread may help. One thing to note about GMail though, is that it actually only has a single folder called All Mail. All your messages are in that folder and have categories that separate them into virtual folders such as Inbox , Sent etc. So you don’t want to delete those categories!
Otherwise eM Client does not assign categories unless you have setup a Rule to do so.
